JILA/CU centers: CUbit & STROBE Tour - April 17, 2019
CO-LABS network tour of the JILA quantum physics research labs.

CUbit (pronounced "Q-bit") is a program at the University of Colorado- Boulder's JILA, the world-renowned joint institute with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The JILA CUbit Quantum Initiative will reinforce Colorado’s prominence in quantum information science and technology, partner with regional universities and laboratories, link closely with quantum-intensive companies, and serve a spectrum of local, regional and national interests, including workforce development. Come learn how quantum physics research is shaping the future of computing, cybersecurity, photonics, bioscience and more.

Margaret Murnane present on the success of her NSF STOBE center, a multi-university effort to create powerful and broadly-applicable real-time nano-to-atomic scale imaging modalities to advance imaging science and increase access, that can be used to address grand challenges in science and technology, while building a diverse STEM workforce.
