2024-25 Caregiver Chaperone & Volunteer Training
We believe that families are an integral part of student learning and we have structured our program to provide the opportunity for families to participate in the daily life of our school community.  We have a variety of needs for volunteer services and are happy to have you as a part of our crew.

If you are considering volunteering in the school more than five days or 30 hours in a school year or chaperoning overnight fieldwork, we require you to participate in a one-hour workshop so you understand your role, our policies regarding student privacy and safety, and are prepared to support students and teachers. Additionally, overnight chaperones and school-based volunteers of five or more days are subject to a background check. Please see the Family Handbook for more information.

We are offering three, in-person sessions prior to the kick off of our fall field study season. Please register in advance for a slot. All new families and any caregivers who haven't participated in our training sessions prior to 2021 are required to attend a session to be certified for overnight fieldwork participation.
