ECAS Fall 2024 Pre-Registration Form
The ECAS 2024-25 Season is here! Note that this pre-registration form is for returning singers only. Please direct any newcomers to fill out the 'join us' form on our website to reserve their temporary packet of sheet music. (https://www.eastonchoralarts.com/join-us)

Please help us be better prepared for our very first rehearsal back on Tuesday, August 27th by pre-registering for the coming semester. This will help ensure that we have a packet of sheet music available for you. 

Please plan on arriving early on the 27th to make your way through the registration line which will open at 6:30pm. For returning members, dues for the fall semester ($50) will be due during registration prior to receiving your packet of music. You will be able to pay via cash, check, or credit card (although electronic payments may include a processing fee). All students sing with ECAS for free!

Important dates for this semester are as follows:

Saturday, October 19th from 10:00am-2:30pm (Fall Retreat)
Thursday, December 5th from 6:30-9:30pm (Dress Rehearsal)
Friday, December 6th at 7:30pm (Holiday Concert #1 at Christ Church)
Sunday, December 8th at 4:00pm (Holiday Concert #2 at Christ Church)
Sunday, December 15th at 3:00pm 
(Combined Collaborative Holiday Concert with Chester River Chorale at St. Elizabeth Church in Wilmington, DE)

New Member Buddy System - This semester we would like to introduce our New Member Buddy System. For newcomers who have signed up for our two-week trial-run, we would like to pair them with a returning ECAS singer to be their buddy for the first two weeks. This would simply involve arriving at 6:30 on the first night, sitting with the newcomer you're paired with, answering any questions they may have throughout the evening, and making sure they feel welcome! You would be encouraged to introduce them to other fellow section members and to try and get to know them better. Would you be interested in serving as a buddy should the need arise? (You will be emailed prior to our first rehearsals to confirm whether or not your services will be required!) *
Small Ensembles - This semester we will have two small ensembles. For now, participation will be open to returning singers only. Option #1 will be Reena Esmail's "The Unexpected Early Hour" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHUbs0slv9I). Option #2 will be Rosephanye Powell's "Ogo ni fun Oluwa!" (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL35YG2bUEKbnyhXH4-XKqvfeFYA5TX6Pu&si=pgJZ96zcoX7Vkjjp). You may be considered for one or both small ensembles depending on the number of volunteers we have/section balance. Rehearsal time for small ensembles will take place during regular rehearsals. However, small ensemble members will be asked to put in some extra individual practice time outside of rehearsal to prepare these pieces. Please check all that apply.  *
