Mid-East Region Wastewater Improvement Plan Public Survey

Dear Resident:

We need your help! The Mid-East Commission Council of Governments and project partners (East Carolina University, Environmental Health Depts., Local Governments, NC Dept. of Health and Human Services, NC Division of Water Infrastructure, NC Office of Recovery and Resiliency, UNC Environmental Finance Center, Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, and Sound Rivers) are developing the Mid-East Region Wastewater Improvement Plan. This plan will provide an overview of all wastewater systems in the region, identify known problems, and recommend a path to move forward with improvements. The plan will include all five Mid-East Region counties and their municipalities, including Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin, and Pitt Counties.

No personal information will be gathered as part of this survey. Your input will help us better understand public needs and local priorities regarding the region's wastewater infrastructure. We look forward to your comments. Thank you!
