The accountant require following certain rules while recording business transactions and preparing accounts

வணிகப் பரிவர்த்தனைகளைப் பதிவுசெய்து கணக்குகளைத் தயாரிக்கும் போது கணக்காளர் சில விதிகளைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்

Accounting concepts refer to the basic assumptions, rules and principles which work as the basis for recording of business transactions and preparing accounts.

கணக்கியல் கருத்துக்கள் என்பது வணிக பரிவர்த்தனைகளை பதிவு செய்வதற்கும் கணக்குகளைத் தயாரிப்பதற்கும் அடிப்படையாக செயல்படும் அடிப்படை அனுமானங்கள், விதிகள் மற்றும் கொள்கைகளைக் குறிக்கின்றன.

What is the business entity concept

Business entity concept means the business enterprise and its owners are two separate independent entities

The business transactions and personal transactions of its owner are separate

This concept is the very basis of accounting.

வணிக நிறுவன கருத்தியியல் என்பது வணிக நிறுவனம் மற்றும் அதன் உரிமையாளர்கள் இரண்டும் தனித்தனி நிறுவனங்கள்

வணிக பரிவர்த்தனைகள் மற்றும் உரிமையாளரின் தனிப்பட்ட பரிவர்த்தனைகள் தனித்தனியாக பதிவு செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்.

What is business capital or a liability? Explain. வணிக மூலதனம் அல்லது கடன்பாடு என்றால் என்ன? விளக்கவும்.

The assets of the business and not of the owner according to the business entity concept is known as business capital or a liability

வணிக நிறுவன கருத்தியலின்படி வணிகத்தின் சொத்துக்கள், வணிக மூலதனம் அல்லது கடன்பாடு என அறியப்படுகிறது. இவைகள் உரிமையாளரின் சொத்துக்கள் என்று அறியப்படுவதில்லை.

Any invested amount will be treated as business capital i.e. a liability of business towards the business owner

What is money measurement concept? பண அளவீடு கருத்தியியல் என்றால் என்ன?

Money measurement concept means that all business transactions must be in terms of money, that is in the currency of a country and are recorded in the books of accounts

பண அளவீடு கருத்தியயல் என்பது அனைத்து வணிக பரிவர்த்தனைகளும் பணத்தின் அடிப்படையில் இருக்க வேண்டும், அதாவது ஒரு நாட்டின் நாணயத்தைக் கொண்டு கணக்கியலில் பதிவு செய்யப்படுதல்.

The transactions which cannot be expressed in monetary terms are not recorded in the books of accounts

பண அடிப்படையில் வெளிப்படுத்த முடியாத பரிவர்த்தனைகள் கணக்குப் புத்தகங்களில் பதிவு செய்யப்படவில்லை

All transactions must be expressed in monetary value and not volume.

Because of this concept business can be judged for its capacity to earn profits in future.

What is dual aspect concept? இரட்டை பதிவு கருத்தியல் என்றால் என்ன?

Dual aspect concept means that the the transaction should be recorded at two places

For example, goods purchased for cash has two aspects which are (i) Giving of cash (ii) Receiving of goods. These two aspects are to be recorded.

இரட்டை பதிவு கருத்தியல் என்பது பரிவர்த்தனை இரண்டு இடங்களில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதாகும்

எடுத்துக்காட்டாக, பணத்திற்காக வாங்கப்பட்ட பொருட்கள் இரண்டு அம்சங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளன, அவை (i) பணம் வழங்குதல் (ii) பொருட்களைப் பெறுதல். இந்த இரண்டு அம்சங்களையும் பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும்.
