Written by a friend and colleague of Emery's who "strongly suggested" adding this for the fall registrations since Emery does a lot for our community and could use some support:

If you are able to offer any additional support as Emery helps care for her mom who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia, that would be amazing and so greatly appreciated! No amount is too little and all support will go to helping with expenses as Emery works remotely from VA/DC for the next few months. Even helping her buy a cup of coffee now and then matters.

Between offering CEUs we can afford, helping people start private practices, and just generally being super supportive of therapists, she has done a lot for creative arts therapists over the years and hopefully this is a way we can help ease the financial challenge just a bit during this major life change.

Emery notes that this winter she will donate anything remaining after her costs are covered over these next few months to the nonprofit organization The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
