Question 5: In a recent report by Forbes, Charlotte ranks as the second worst commuting city in the country. WalkSafe Monroe is considering advocating for a program that would encourage businesses in the Charlotte area to adopt remote or hybrid work policies, when applicable. The goal is to reduce commuter traffic into Charlotte, which may also improve traffic extending to Union County and Monroe.
