Invisible Battles: How Social Pressures Impact the Mental and Physical Health of Women and Girls

Women and girls face growing social pressures—from social media and beauty standards to academic, workplace, and cultural expectations—that can affect both mental and physical health. These often unseen challenges can begin early and contribute to stress, anxiety, and burnout.

Join the Erie Women’s Fund for an educational panel exploring how these pressures show up in our community, early warning signs to watch for, and ways families, organizations, and systems can better support the well-being of women and girls.

This session is open to EWF members, friends, and the broader community. We welcome anyone interested in learning and engaging in this important conversation.
