Healthy Living Series "Artsy Smartsy...Art for EVERYONE!! "
The Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association invites you to join us for our new education series. Each month we will cover a different aspect of living healthy with SCI.
Presentation: Artsy Smartsy, LLC
Presenter- Tina Marie Ferguson
When: Tuesday, April 18, 2017 4pm to 6pm
Where: Ability 360 Conference Room
5025 E. Washington St. Phoenix 85034

The class they will bring to our group will be based on the amazing colorful art of Romero Britto. Britto uses vibrant color, playful themes and hard-edged compositions to capture the attention of both youthful spirits and educated art collectors. His style is described by The New York Times as "exuding warmth, optimism and love." We are going to take Britto's inspiration and create watercolor cards inspired by his fun, colorful abstract images! At the end of class, each student will know a little more about the art techniques of watercolor pencil, and the cards they create can be kept by each artist to pass on to a loved one or can be donated to send peace, love, hope and inspiration to our troops!! (Our lead Artsy Smartsy teacher, Sean, is also a combat veteran who did two tours in Afghanistan!)

As always. the classes are free to attend by consumers, family members, caregivers and professionals. See you there!
Transportation- if you can get here, we will provide transportation home if needed. Limited spaces available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Living Healthy with SCI Education Program is funded as a result of generous financial support from the BHHS Legacy Foundation which is an Arizona charitable organization whose philanthropic mission is to enhance the quality of life and health of those it serves.
