2023 NPHS Distinguished Alumni Nomination 

The New Palestine Education Foundation is accepting nominations for the NPHS Distinguished Alumni award. This award will honor alumni whose deeds and character exemplify outstanding achievements in their life’s work and/or service to their communities. NOMINATION DEADLINE: February 27, 2023. Nominees will remain eligible for two consecutive years. Nominees not selected may be re-nominated.

Nomination Process

STEP 1: Basic information about the nominee and the person making the nomination will be gathered.  This includes contact information, nominee’s year of graduation, and a brief statement, 1-2 paragraphs of the nominee’s accomplishments.

STEP 2: The information gathered in Step 1 will be screened by the NPEF Alumni Recognition Committee to identify “highly qualified nominees”.  The nominator will be contacted to set up an interview to gather additional information about the alumnus they have nominated.

STEP 3: The award winners will be selected after the interviews.  The goal will be to complete the selection process so that the winner and nominator can plan to attend the New Palestine Education Foundation Gala, April 14, 2023, when the winner will be announced.

Criteria for Nomination

  • A nominee must have graduated from New Palestine High School
  • The nominee need not reside in the district currently
  • The nominator must provide the information for Step 1 no later than February 27, 2023.
  • The nominator and the nominee are asked to attend an announcement ceremony at the New Palestine Education Foundation Gala on April 14, 2023.
