Cyberpony Express Node Application
This form is for people who want to apply to receive a free Cyberpony Express node in the form of a Heltec Meshtastic/LoRa kit, including a battery and basic antenna.

The High Desert Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit which is partnering with Burners Without Borders and the Multiverse School to build a free, secure, public mesh network using Meshtastic nodes to enable anyone to communicate without relying on the fragile infrastructure of the public internet and cell phone networks. This is vital disaster response infrastructure which will make people safer and make communities better prepared for the many disasters that are coming.

We are currently prioritizing community gardens, intentional communities/libraries, and amateur radio clubs that operate repeater sites. If your project does not fit into one of these categories, please feel free to reach out to CJ Trowbridge or Future Infinitive to discuss alternative options.

We are still waiting to receive the nodes, and review applications so give us some time to get back to you. Thank you for helping to build the network!

You can also donate via GoFundMe to help us give these to more people!
