VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT, CODE OF CONDUCT, AND WAIVER

Please read the following carefully before proceeding to the application form.

This Volunteer Agreement is a description of the arrangement between Kairos Academies and you (the volunteer) in relation to your voluntary work. The intention of this agreement is to assure you that we appreciate your efforts in volunteering with us and to indicate our commitment to do the best we can to make your experience with us a positive and rewarding one. The volunteer understands that the relationship with Kairos Academies is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by the volunteer.

1. EXPECTATION, GOALS, AND TRAINING
Kairos Academies will provide thorough expectations, clear goals, and any additionally training necessary to perform your volunteering role.

2. SUPERVISION, SUPPORT AND FLEXIBILITY
Kairos Academies will provide supervision and support for you volunteers, working with you and your availability with an understanding that you are here voluntarily.

3. EXPENSES
There will be no reimbursements for the expenses incurred unless previous approval is obtained from the management of Kairos Academies or if the expenses are officially requested by the management themselves.

4. WAIVER AND RELEASE
The volunteer release forever discharges and holds Kairos Academies harmless from any or all liabilities, claims and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or equity, which arise or hereafter arises from the services that the volunteer provided to Kairos Academies. The volunteer understands that this release discharges Kairos Academies from any liability or claim from the volunteer in the event of any bodily injury, illness, death or property damages that may arise whilst performing volunteer duties.

5. INSURANCE
The volunteer understands and accepts that Kairos Academies will not be purchasing any insurance coverage for the volunteer and the volunteer hereby expressly waives such claim for compensation or liability from Kairos Academies in the event of any medical or property damage expenses occurred.

6. PHOTOGRAPHIC/MEDIA RELEASE
The volunteer grants and conveys to Kairos Academies all rights, titles and interests in any and all photographs, videos or audio recordings of the volunteer or any likeness made by Kairos Academies while providing the volunteer services.

7. TERMINATION
The volunteer service may be terminated by either Kairos Academies or the volunteer in a written notice of no less than two weeks. Or by Kairos Academies at anytime if an immediate or recent action done by the volunteer causes physical or emotional harm to other volunteers, students, teachers, staff, or partners.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY
All volunteers are required to abide in confidentiality with Kairos Academies for the protection of our students and families by not divulging any information meant for internal circulation to any person or sources outside Kairos Academies.

9. CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS
- Treat every individual with honesty, dignity, and respect.

- Contribute to a cooperative and positive volunteer environment.

- Be committed in your volunteering duties and responsibilities.
