Management plan description
The purpose of this form is to describe the goals and methods your organization will promote to conserve the ecosystem and biodiversity on the purchased land in the next 10-15 years and beyond. It has three main parts:
I. (Section 2) a list of the long-term conservation goals, land uses, and community/regional engagement and impact for the purchased land.
II. (Sections 3-7) detailed information on the specific management goals for the next 10-15 years.
These should include specific restoration, protection and enforcement activities; the establishment of monitoring protocols, the encouragement of the sustainable use of resources; the enhancement of local livelihoods, etc.
III. (Section 8) descriptions of protocols and mechanisms that will be used to achieve specific management goals (these could include links or references to protocols posted or published elsewhere).
Section 9 provides space for any additional information that you may want to provide.
Annual reporting will be based on progress on the specific management goals specified in this plan.
