Call for inputs: We Mean Business Coalition is preparing a submission to the UNFCCC consultation process to share its views on work to be undertaken under, as well as possible topics for the dialogues to be held under the new work programme on just transition pathways

COP28 saw the operationalization of the new UNFCCC work programme on just transition pathways, which will start immediately and will run until COP31 in 2026, at which point its continuation will be reviewed.

Parties, observers and non-Party stakeholders are invited to share their views (deadline 15 February 2024) on possible topics for the dialogues that will be held twice a year as part as the work programme. We Mean Business Coalition will be submitting its views on behalf of progressive business taking credible action on just transition and is keen to hear directly from business and financial institutions committed to the just transition.
