To attend the conference, there is a $5 fee. However, if you are unable to pay this due to personal reasons, no worries, SiM 2018 is also a PAY-AS-YOU-CAN event.
Why $5?
To prevent no-shows and to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the conference day.

(Note: If you are paying online, there will be an extra $0.50 charge due to Paypal admin fees)

What does $5 give you?
Access to all aspects of the conference: panels, workshops, speakers, chill zone activities and food (breakfast, lunch provided by MIDNIGHT KITCHEN & afternoon snack).

In order to secure your spot, you must fulfill one of the following options. *
Coming alone? Want a couple of new friends to experience SiM 2018 with? *
If so, you can opt-in for us to link you up with a CONFERENCE BUDDY (another individual who will also be attending the conference alone with similar panel/workshop preferences as you) via email or Facebook. You will meet up before the conference starts and experience all that SiM has to offer together!
By agreeing to the following question I will grant SiM 2018 the permission to post any images, videos and quotes made by myself on any of its social media handles (e.g., Facebook, website), in McGill student news publications and in publicity materials for future conferences. *
