Kindly note that restaurant business is a very sensitive field where customers can be very observant, judgmental & keen on high value for the money they spend. This is not to be seen as a training center or an experimental ground. Instead, our goal should be to ensure a consistent & a fantastic experience to customers.
While we have utmost respect towards any help by volunteers with good heart, kindly note that coaching, training & discussing with volunteers takes up lot of our time, energy & (indirectly) money also from our end. Hence, it is good if a small exercise helps to bring better clarity & understanding, and avoid waste of time from both ends. “Under-promise & over-deliver” from your end is any day better than “over-promise & under-deliver”.
