This unique professional development opportunity is sponsored by UAA CTC and the Career Pathways Task Force. The workshop is open to anyone interested in learning more about, or potentially implementing Career Pathways in Alaska, including: secondary and post-secondary educators, administrators, teachers/faculty, counselors/advisors and other community partners interested in preparing Alaska youth for success in their education and training, leading to jobs that drive Alaska's economy.
Alaska's CPL workshop will offer national models and best practices, as well as Alaska specific content and speakers. Participants will also learn about Health Career Pathway resources and best practices. The workshop is delivered through the National Career Pathway Network (NCPN) by two national leaders and trainers from Center for Occupational Research & Development (CORD), Carol Jurgens and Jean Petty.
