PLEASE READ: Are you filling out this form because you were unable to register for a class in your student portal and the word “DegAudit” replaced the checkbox next to the class? If so, this means that this class does not currently fulfill any of your degree requirements. Please review your degree audit.
If your schedule change request is for a future semester, you can make these changes in your student portal under Registration. Be sure to change the semester in the upper left hand corner of your portal. If you have questions or need help, please contact

Traditional students may add/drop courses, without penalty, on or before the Census Date (the first Friday of the fall and spring semesters). After the Census Date, full-term courses may not be added. Traditional students may add/drop accelerated Session B courses up to the course start date, only if it occurs at the same time as a withdrawal and as long as the student's financial aid package is not modified (meaning the changes keep you within the 12-18 hour block). If a schedule change brings your hours over the block rate, you will owe money for the extra hours. Students may withdraw from a course after the Census Date up until the Last Day to Withdraw (published in the Course Catalog). Withdrawals are subject to the RU refund policy, processed as of the last date of attendance, and noted as "W" on transcripts. Once the Census Date has passed, a course change fee is applied.
Accelerated and Graduate students may add/drop courses, without penalty, up until the start date of the course. Students may withdraw from a course after the course start date up until the Last Day to Withdraw (Friday of the 5th week of each session). Withdrawals are subject to the RU refund policy, processed as of the last date of attendance, and noted as "W" on transcripts. Once the course has started, a course change fee is applied.
Dropping below full-time can have a negative impact on your financial aid. If you play a sport, it may also affect your athletic eligibility to continue playing.
Withdrawn hours still count toward your financial aid hours.
Academic advisers, instructors, or coaches cannot provide financial aid or billing advice. Please be sure to contact Student Financial Services before completing this request to answer questions you may have on the effect of any schedule changes and any financial implications.
