MIT Press on PubPub: Project Proposals
The purpose of this form is to gather information about the potential use of PubPub for MIT Press book projects. This form does not handle requests to make a final book open access on PubPub; for those cases, we have a separate process. These are the four types of projects covered here:
- Works in Progress: Works in early stages of development that would benefit from an open peer review process. These are works that as of the time of their posting have not been signed by MITP. E.g., https://wip.mitpress.mit.edu/collectivewisdom
- Open Review: Manuscripts of MIT Press-contracted books that are posted for public comment prior to entering the publication process. E.g., https://wikipedia20.pubpub.org/
- Support Sites: sites with supplemental content for a book from MITP but not the book itself. E.g., https://www.keepcalmlogon.com/
- Early Access: books that are copyedited but do not include final author and proof-stage corrections. E.g., https://you-are-here.pubpub.org/.
