The Board of Trustees of the Frank Carlson Library have established a materials selection policy and a procedure for gathering input about particular items. Completion of this form is the first step in that procedure. If you wish to request reconsideration of a resource, please return the competed form to the library director.

It is the mission of the Frank Carlson Library to offer access to information, resources, and entertainment to all members of the community. The Library Board affirms the American library Association’s Library Bill of Rights, Freedom to View, and Freedom to Read policy statements in support of acquiring and managing collections.

The Library Board and staff support a parent’s right to screen and monitor materials consumed by and set limitations for their child. It is that parent’s sole responsibility to enforce those limitations on their own child. Library staff cannot enforce limitations or restrict any patron from accessing and/or checking out library materials.
