We need your help documenting storm damage
In response to the damage done by high-intensity storms that hit Northern California last month, Governor Brown proclaimed a state of emergency in California. This action follows emergency declarations by Placer and 48 other California counties, and acknowledges the local lack of capability and resources to deal with the extent of this disaster. Most importantly, it offers the possibility of funding to help address our damaged public infrastructure—with an estimated price tag of more than $8 million.

At this time, we need your help collecting data about the individual impacts to residents and businesses. If you’re a Placer County homeowner, renter or business owner (of any size) whose property has been damaged by the recent storms, we encourage you to be proactive and document any damage or losses you’ve suffered on the form(s) via the links below. Even if you don’t need financial assistance, please take the time to fill out the damage surveys, because we have to capture a reasonable understanding of the actual damages experienced in Placer County. This information will be critical in determining the county’s eligibility for federal assistance to individuals.
