FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a robotics program guided by two or more adult coaches. It designed for 4th-8th grade (ages 9-14) with teams up to 10 members. FLL teams research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. This year’s challenge is HYDRO DYNAMICS. The details will officially be released on August 29th at 12PM. They also must design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS, and compete on a table-top playing field.For more information on FLL, please check out: firstinspires.org/robotics/fll Who is invited?This training is designed for coaches and mentors only and will prepare new coaches as well as returning coaches for the FLL experience. The training will include an overview of all four parts of FLL (project, robot design, core values, and the robot game), what to expect during the season, how to run a team, and training with the MINDSTORMS EV3.**If able, please bring your team’s EV3 with at least a basic build (including sensors) and please charge the battery.
