Global Gag Rule and Feminist Resistance: Strategies for Solidarity

For decades, the Global Gag Rule has silenced voices, blocked funding, and restricted access to sexual and reproductive health & rights (SRHR), disproportionately impacting women, girls, and gender minorities worldwide. Under each reinstatement, healthcare providers, activists, and feminist organizations have been forced to make an impossible choice—comply and stay silent or resist and lose critical funding.
But resistance has never been optional—it has always been necessary. ✊🏽💜  

As we mark 50 years of International Women’s Day and 30 years since the Beijing Conference, we refuse to let regressive policies dictate the future of reproductive justice. This International Women’s Day, we come together in solidarity, grief, and action—because no policy should control our bodies, choices, or futures.
