The Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health is hosting the 2024 Women’s Health Summit “Charting the Course of Women’s Health” at the Beckman Center in UCI Research Park. The poster session will take place on November 15 from 11:45AM - 12:15PM.
This Reproductive Justice (RJ) poster session aims to continue the conversation from last year’s Women's Summit and expand on conversations seen in this year's Summit. We hope to have a variety of posters across various disciplines and perspectives. First-time poster presenters are also welcomed, loved, and celebrated!
All posters that address the core tenets of reproductive justice are welcome!
The tenets, as coined by the group SisterSong, are:
1. The human right to own our bodies and control our future
2. The human right to have children
3. The human right to not have children
4. The human right to parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities
And an additional tenet from the World Health Organization:
5. The right to enjoy one's sexual health and expression one's sexuality
