All Things Handmade 2020 Application
Thank you for your interest in our newly announced Picks and Giggles All Things Handmade Market: taking place on March 15th 2020 in Bowmanville! Please fill out the application form in its' entirety. We're looking for a variety of unique and local, handcrafted businesses/services. Any shops that cater to baby & kids should not apply to this market. We are hosting a separate Baby & Kids Handmade Market on February 9th 2020, please apply to that market.
Acceptances are NOT based on who applies first to the market.
*** Please note - no MLM or direct sales businesses will be accepted to this event. Your products MUST BE handmade. Our definition of handmade:
- locally produced goods or services, designed and/or made in Canada
- materials used for production do not have to be made in Canada**
- your business is heavily involved in the creation of each piece
- resellers from bulk sites such as Alibaba may not apply

Picks and Giggles is a well curated series of markets highlighting both established and emerging handmade and design artisans in the fields of jewelry, food, accessories, fashion, art, home and lifestyle goods and services.
Our mission is to provide a place for the community to experience and support creative small businesses that take pride in locally produced goods or services, designed and/or made in Canada.
With this being a handmade market, spaces are limited for 'like' businesses as some categories are more
saturated than others. We want to offer our shoppers a wide range of products/services from your awesome
local businesses! Your application will be reviewed by our panel – this way, we can ensure that our customers
are exposed to a large variety of products all under one roof. The panel will review all applications, based on
quality of work, social media presence and market suitability.
- The cost is $225 +HST for a 9ft by 8ft space
*** Pipe and drape are not provided
**** All applicants selected by our panel for this event will be notified by November 10th 2019
****** If your application is accepted, payment will need to be made within 48 hours to secure your space
******* Upon acceptance, professionally designed marketing materials will be provided
Application deadline is November 3rd 2019 at 5:00 EST. We cannot accept any after this date. We regret that we will not be able to accommodate all applicants due to the high volume of applications we receive and ONLY accepted businesses will be contacted by us. Due to the large amount of applications we receive, we are unable to give individual feedback to the applicants that we are unable to accept. Thank you so much for taking this time to apply!
