During ScAluDa, Norwin graduates who are pursuing or practicing in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics careers come back and share their experiences and advice with current 7th-12th grade students. Now that you’re graduating, you can be a presenter too!
Join the STEM Alumni mailing list and you’ll be kept in the know for upcoming ScAluDa Events (as well as other occasional miscellaneous updates and opportunities). Every fall, we’ll send out an e-mail giving details about when ScAluDa will fall that upcoming December. If you’re interested in participating, just fill out a short reply and you’ll be included in the planning moving forward that year. If you’re not interested/available, just ignore the message and maybe it will work out the next year!
Not everyone needs a four-year degree for a great STEM career and the ScAluDa program is stronger when it represents speakers from different career paths. There are a lot of ways to become involved in STEM careers – 2-year degrees, 4-year degrees, graduate school, the military, apprenticeships and jumping right into the workforce. We hope students across the career spectrum consider sharing their experiences and advice with younger Norwin students!
Norwin has been fortunate for generations of younger alumni who step in as older alumni become less available due to increasing work & family commitments. Consider being one of the next alumni to carry on this 15+ year tradition that has connected with tens of thousands of Norwin students!
ALSO - feel free to forward this form to any fellow alumni who are pursuing STEM careers but who did not have me as a teacher in their senior year.
