The School District of Oconee County Transportation Department requires that all new and returning bus riders complete the SDOC Bus Transportation Registration to ensure that your student is assigned to the correct bus for pickup and/or drop off.
Please review the following information regarding rules and regulations for bus transportation:
- There will be no eating or drinking on our buses. In the case of an emergency, it could take our buses too long to stop and render aid while a child is choking.
- Standing, throwing objects, cursing or hitting is not allowed. If any seats or walls are vandalized, the student may be suspended and charged $75 to replace the seats and clean the walls.
- All other bus rules will be posted and discussed. Rules can also be found on the SDOC website.
- Please allow up to 48 hours for this registration form to be processed.
- Any student, who does not ride the bus for 5 consecutive days, will be removed from the bus roster. Parent/guardian will be required to resubmit this bus registration to reestablish bus transportation.
- Students in Pre-K through 3rd grade must be met by an adult at the bus stop. If no adult is present, the student will be returned to the school.
