2026 CHORAL Rising Music Educator Program Application

🎶 Calling All Future & Early-Career Choir Directors!

Join the 2026 Rising Music Educator Program – Choir Focus
Friday, April 17 • Great Wolf Lodge • Wisconsin Dells

FACT: Nearly 40% of new teachers in Wisconsin leave the profession within six years.
We’re here to help change that.

Hosted by the Beyond The Notes Music Festival, the Rising Music Educator Program (Choir Focus) is a one-day, hands-on professional learning experience created to bridge the gap between college coursework and the real-world classroom.

Spend the day observing twelve middle school choirs from across Wisconsin as they perform and work with award-winning clinicians, including:
🎵 Raymond Roberts – Milwaukee High School of the Arts
🎵 Dr. Adrian Davis – University of Minnesota–Twin Cities
🎵 Dr. Shannon Gravelle – Lawrence University

You’ll gain practical rehearsal strategies, connect with experienced mentors, and network with peers who share your passion for choral music education.

đź’µ Cost: $25 (includes lunch)
🏨 Optional: Discounted Great Wolf Lodge lodging ($165 up to quad occupancy)
đź‘• Festival T-shirt available for $15
