Happy Tails Rescue Inc. Adoption Application (Northwest Indiana)
Thank you for wanting to adopt instead of buy a dog! Please note, we receive more applications than we can respond to. If your home sounds like the best fit for the dog you're applying for, we'll be in touch. Not hearing back on an application is not a rejection, it just means we found a better fit in another applicant, or are waiting for the right fit to come along. We have very few returns of dogs, we believe this is because of our careful matching of homes and our rescue dogs. We get to know these dogs very well because they live with us. In addition, we have years of experience that helps us know if a dog and a family would likely be a good forever match. You're always welcome to follow up on an application if you haven't heard from us after a few days by emailing emily@happytailsrescue.org. Thank you for understanding why we're so careful, and mostly, for adopting!

-Emily Halgrimson, Board President
