Animal Wonders Office Assistant
Animal Wonders is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to help manage a variety of duties for a small non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue displaced wild and exotic animals and provide educational programs to the public. Your most important task as Office Assistant is to create an encouraging work environment during our busy season and times of high volume animal care. We're looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and is ready to take on challenges with a positive outlook!

As our Office Assistant you will report directly to our Executive Director. You will be responsible for communicating with our internal team and also directly with our communities. This includes but is not limited to: scheduling, client and donor relations, data entry and maintaining current spreadsheets, updating animal care protocols as needed, ordering/purchasing office and merchandise supplies, drafting newsletters, and keeping up on all the animal ambassadors' personal stories.

This position will grow as our organization grows and you can expect to also work as part of the team whose responsibilities include: organizing community events and fundraisers, coordinating with volunteers, social media posts, and communicating with other entities for collaborations.

15 hrs/week
$10-12 DOE

Job requirements:
21+ years old
Comfortable using and learning new online platforms and applications
Proficient in Word/Excel/Google Workplace/Abode Acrobat
Excellent communicating in person, on the phone, and via email
Superb team mentality

Experienced with online donor platforms
Experienced with online video platforms (YT, Twitch)
Familiar with animal care
Excited about education!
