Social Media Coordinator- Create and schedule info posts on our PTA Facebook and Instagram pages. Monitor comments and questions. For the majority of the posts, our president, vp, or committee chairs will reach out with the text and dates to post. You will then create graphics and schedule the posts. Bonus points for reposting important district and school info!!

Field Day Chair(s) - PE teachers organize the majority of this event! You will be responsible for coordinating with them, coordinating volunteers, renting inflatable water slides for the event. President and VP are more than happy to walk you through the process and offer assistance throughout!

Culture Fest Chair - our current chair is relocating. Join now so she can help get you started! Create and organize our culture fest evening event. Up to you what the scale of the event is! Has included food trucks, performances, grade level projects, family tables, etc. in the past. President and VP are more than happy to help get you acclimated!

Arts Night Chair - NEW! Work with music, art, and theater teachers to create and organize an arts night celebration. May or may not be working in conjunction with STEM night chair. Still a work in progress!!

Belonging and Inclusion Chair- Attend at least one Wake PTA DEI Committee Meeting (available virtually). Create a full year of social media posts from the National PTA Awareness Calendar https://www.pta.org/docs/default-source/files/runyourpta/2025/awarenesscalendar-25-26.pdf Lead a committee that champions inclusivity initiatives for our PTA. Examples of past initiatives: Working with counselors on anti-bullying Unity Day project, advocating for low sensory, quiet rooms at all large evening PTA events, arranging a parent academy training for PTA Board Members. PRESIDENT and VP and more than happy to walk you through the process and help as much as needed along the way!!
