ABOR Sign-Up & Volunteer Form

The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) are governor-appointed public officials that hold concentrated power over Arizona's three state universities that affect all of us as students, staff, faculty, and community members. Every time the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) holds a board meeting, we show up to remind them of our demands and to make our voices heard during the public comments section; this board meeting provides the space for a cross-sector organizing moment to demonstrate solidarity across our connected struggles and show how powerful we are together.

The next ABOR board meeting is in Tucson at the University of Arizona's campus on Thursday, June 12th. Our schedule of events for the day is as-follows:
  • 8:30am - Sign-making & breakfast (we are getting bagels from Bubbe's!)
  • 9:30am - rally outside of the Optical Sciences Building
  • 10am - march to the Grand Challenges Building (room 130) for public comment
  • 11am - Debrief & optional lunch after
Housing in/Transportation to Tucson: We're organizing rides from Flagstaff and Tempe so we can all have a voice at this meeting! If you need housing, please indicate that in Section Four of this form.

Speaking at ABOR: If you would like to speak during the ABOR public comment session, or are part of an organization that wants to endorse or co-sponsor our appearance, please indicate that below. We will share our bulleted talking points with you to form coherent and diverse statements. To see our last public comment at the April 10th ABOR meeting in Flagstaff, click here.

Sharing Information About the Event: We encourage you to share information about this event with your friends, colleagues, and union-friendly organizations.
