An American Political Survey

I have come across many different political surveys, and each of them have several issues, ranging from oversimplification, loaded questions, misinterpreted questions, etc. A team of three other students and I have designed this survey in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the correlation between political beliefs and political identity, which will be analyzed with different statistical learning methods. In the long term, I hope to use this data to create internet-based applications which allow people to take this survey and see how they would be classified based on other people's response and allow us to gather more data.

This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. It is divided up into parts as follows:

1. Demographics (about 1-2 minutes)

2. Political Questions, Part 1 (about 3-5 minutes)

3. Political Questions, Part 2 (about 2-4 minutes)

4. Political Questions, Part 3 (about 3-5 minutes)

5. Humanity Goals Questions (one minute or less)

6. Political Identifiers (one minute or less)

Please note that this survey is only for US residents aged 18 and up.

This survey is anonymous, and information collected will not be used to identify any individuals. There is no known risk to taking this survey, although there are a few political questions that may bother some users. Please note that there is no way to guarantee that our storage system (currently Google Drive, which uses https protocol) is 100% safe from hacking or other security breaches.

There is no payment or other form of monetary compensation for taking this survey.

You may withdraw from this survey at any time while taking it.
