y=mx+b or Slope Intercept Form
There are three forms of linear equations.
1.  Point Slope  The point-slope form is y − A = B(x − C). For example, y − 2 = 5(x − 7).
2.  Standard Ax + By = C, where A, B and C are constants.  For example, 10x+ 2y = 1
3.  Slope Intercept y=mx+b

I will  primarily focus on y=mx+ b form and a little on standard form

y=mx+b is also called the slope intercept form because  the equation of a line’s slope (steepness) and y-intercept (where the line crosses the vertical y-axis) are quickly seen
