By typing my name below, I, the parent or legal guardian of the above named minor(s) ("the Volunteer(s)"), give my permission for them to participate as a volunteer of Star City StrongFest ("the Event"), hosted by Star City Strong Foundation, a nonprofit organization. I understand and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that the Volunteer(s) will be assisting with activities that may involve lifting, moving equipment, standing for extended periods, interacting with the public, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. I accept all risks associated with this volunteer role, including potential injury, exposure to illness, and property loss.
Release of Liability: On behalf of the Volunteer and myself, I release and hold harmless Star City Strong Foundation, Star City Strongman, the City of Roanoke, Elmwood Park, their directors, staff, volunteers, partners, affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Event staff to seek appropriate medical care for the Volunteer. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical treatment provided.
Photo and Media Release: I give permission for photographs and video of the Volunteer taken during the Event to be used by Star City Strong Foundation and Star City Strongman for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials.
Code of Conduct: The Volunteer agrees to follow all instructions given by Event staff and conduct themselves respectfully and safely. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the Event.
