Our part-time summer student volunteer program traditionally runs from mid-May through mid-August, but the dates you volunteer are completely up to you. You do not have to commit to specific dates at this time; this is simply to get an idea of your potential availability.   If you are local during the school year, your volunteer period could be extended beyond the summer, if you wish.
What are your career goals in the field of meteorology/hydrology/atmospheric science? How do you think a summer volunteer position with the National Weather Service will help you reach those goals? *
Which of these potential activities for your volunteer period interest you? (check ALL that apply, but note that due to the pandemic, not all activities may be possible) *
Hint: The first checkbox below is a required element of our volunteer program. If you do not select it, it is unlikely you will be chosen for this program.
