Before you apply, please read and understand the following.
COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS
• Heart of a Worshipper - Worship is as much about character as it is about musical skills.
You must have a heart of a servant, team member, gratitude, thankfulness & humility.
• Music skills - You must be able to learn music quickly (we typically give at least 2 weeks notice).
We exclusively use chord charts so you must know how to play from charts. We use a
click (metronome) through our in-ear monitors so you must be willing to sing/play with the
click and use in-ear monitors (IEMs).
• Communication - We communicate through weekly emails and texts. You are responsible
for the information contained within. All charts, rosters, setlists, etc. are posted to
Dropbox.
• Frequent Home Practice - Must be able to learn songs on your own time. Rehearsals are
not practice time. All music & lyrics should be learned before rehearsals.
• Time Commitment - Depending on which team(s) you are on, you must attend rehearsal,
Wednesday service, two Sunday worship sets and one Sunday teaching.
• Early Arrival - You must arrive early enough to have your music prepared, your instrument
tuned, in-ears ready, etc. so that rehearsal and sound check starts on time.
• Influences - Our top influences are Hillsong (Worship, United & Y+F), Bethel, Matt Redman,
Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake. You should be familiar with the catalogs of these
worshippers before requesting an audition.
• Team Player - You must be willing to work with our existing team and methods.
• Church Membership - We require Church Membership by attending New Members
Classes. If you have not yet attended classes, you may still audition with the promise of
completing the classes at the next opportunity.
