Creating a Process for Introducing Students to New Teaching Methods

When: Tuesday, November 7, 2017
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Lyceum 200

As faculty increasingly integrate active learning strategies into their classes, they may be met with resistance from students who do not understand the purpose of the activities or who are more comfortable with passive learning. In this FacChat, we are going to brainstorm ideas for creating a process to introduce students to new teaching methods in a way that maximizes student engagement, effective collaboration, and critical thinking. We hope you can join and share ideas over a cup of coffee/tea!

RSVP is not required, however, to help us know how much refreshment to order we kindly ask that you RSVP if possible.

We hope you can join us for this informal conversation, and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea too!

Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly for refreshments. Thank you.
