2025 Rock Camp SLC - Summer Session Camper Application
Thank you for applying for Rock Camp SLC (RCSLC)! We are dedicated to empowering girls, transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth from all backgrounds through music education, collaboration, and performance. 

-Applications are not first come, first serve. We made this change in order to make our programs more accessible to everyone.

-Camp days are from 9am to 4pm (8:30am to 4pm for teen interns)

-We will be creating camp COVID policies to protect the most vulnerable youth and volunteers. As COVID-19 case numbers change, we will update our policies. Currently, masks will be encouraged when social distancing is not possible and all participants will be required to take a COVID rapid test the night before camp.

Applying as a camper for RCSLC is a 3-part process:

Part 1: Fill out this form completely.

Part 2: We will review all the applications as we get them and send you an email letting you know if your camper was accepted to RCSLC no later than Friday, April 18th. If you apply after the 18th of April, we will process applications as we receive them. If you are able to pay tuition, we will send you a PayPal invoice. You can pay the full amount all at once or make payments on your invoice.

You will also be sent a link to fill out our acceptance packet digitally - this form includes emergency contact information, code of conduct, release of liability, media release, and freedom of artistic expression policies that require digital signatures.

Part 3: We will send emails with updates and more detailed information about camp as the dates get closer. We will be assigning instruments about 1 week before camp starts in order to give everyone their 1st or 2nd choice and balance the instruments in each band.

Session 1 - The Commonwealth Room - Saturday, June 21st @ 1pm
Session 2 -  The Commonwealth Room - Saturday, August 2nd @ 1pm

General Daily Schedule:
(days start at 8:30am for teen interns)

Tuesday - 9am to 4pm - assembly, instrument instruction, workshops, lunch, band practice, closing assembly

Wednesday - 9am to 4pm - assembly, instrument instruction, workshops, lunch, band photos band practice, closing assembly

Thursday - 9am to 4pm - assembly, instrument instruction, workshops, lunch, t-shirt making, band practice, closing assembly

Friday - 9am to 4pm - assembly, instrument instruction, workshops, lunch, band practice, closing assembly

Saturday - Camper Showcase - 1pm - arrive, 2pm show starts, 3:30pm - show ends
