Feline Adoption Application

Thank you for choosing to apply to adopt one of our rescued kitties and for putting time and thought into filling out our application. Our goal is to match each of our animals with the right family so you will share a long, happy life together. The information you provide will help us do just that! Please do not apply on a whim… our volunteers put time and energy into processing applications; please apply only if you are ready and able to adopt. 

Adoption fees: $100-$130 depending on age. The adoption donation contributes to the cost of: spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations (rabies & FRCPV boosters), TNR (trap-neuter-release) of strays from the area of rescue, FIV/FeLV testing, dewormer and flea/tick/mite prevention, supplies and other veterinary care as needed. 

Kittens do best with a friend! They are social creatures that prosper with a buddy. Kittens under 6 months are typically adopted as pairs; single kittens are adopted to homes that already have at least one cat. If you can only have one cat, please consider an adult who’s personality and habits are developed!

Applicants are responsible for transportation regarding adoption. We are foster based and have homes throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. Must be 21+ to apply.

Once you submit your application, we will contact you via email! The person reviewing your application is a volunteer who processes apps chronologically in their spare time, as quickly as they can. Applications must first be approved; applying does not guarantee adoption of any specific cat. We prioritize the best fit for the animal. We understand that you are excited to welcome a new best friend into your family. Please allow up to one week for processing and have patience with our volunteers. Thoroughly filling out the application will speed up the process! If you do not hear back from us within one week, then feel free to email nepapetfundapps@gmail.com or message us on Facebook inquiring as to the status to your application. DO NOT call Pet Supplies Plus, they are not involved in the adoption processes.
