The Ignite Education Awards Ceremony is an opportunity to recognize the Sarasota County Teacher of the Year and elevate the important role of teachers in our community. To further showcase the impact of our teachers, an Alumni of Distinction award will be presented. This recipient will be an individual whose success in their field or industry can be, in some way, attributed to the years spent in Sarasota County Schools.

ELIGIBILITY:
-Nominee must be a graduate of a Sarasota County high school
-Nominee must be available in person or via video conference on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 10:30-12:00pm
