Submission Timeline

Course code requests are processed using an online submission portal. Requests for new course codes will be accepted twice annually as outlined below:

Fall Submission Deadline: October 1, 2023
Spring Submission Deadline : April 1, 2024

Department consideration timeline:
Fall submissions - December 2023
Spring submissions - June 2024

Following Department review, notification of the status for each request will be delivered, via email, to the school system contact initiating such request. Note that submissions are only considered if submitted by a school system.

For a submission to be considered for a new code, it must meet one of the below criteria. Please check all that apply. *

The proposed course will be a core course which counts towards graduation.

The proposed course will be part of an existing or new Jump Start 2.0 or K-16 STEM pathway.

The proposed course should be considered as worth 5 Quality Points (policy approval/change required).
