- Treat guests, performers, vendors, fellow volunteers, city personnel, and staff with courtesy and respect.
- Follow the direction of event coordinators and volunteer leads.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for an outdoor event. (Costumes are welcome but not required unless otherwise noted.)
- Commit to the volunteer shift(s) you accept. If an emergency prevents you from attending, notify the volunteer coordinators as soon as possible so we can find a replacement.

Volunteer Commitment
Every volunteer plays an important role in the success of the Chattanooga Renaissance Faire. If you're selected, we'll build our staffing plan around the availability you provide. We understand emergencies happen, but we ask that you only apply if you genuinely intend to volunteer and notify us as early as possible if your plans change.

Parking & Arrival
Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation and parking. Public parking is available throughout the North Shore area; however, as attendance increases throughout the day, parking may become limited and require a longer walk to the festival grounds.
Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before your scheduled check-in time to allow time for parking and walking to the volunteer check-in location.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Rain or Shine
This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event. Volunteers should be prepared for changing weather, uneven terrain, and extended periods of standing or walking. Severe weather procedures will be communicated if necessary.
