Following the lead of the State Senate and Assembly who recently cut the State Gas Tax, and following public pressure by the Long Island Senate and Assembly Delegation, Bruce Blakeman has reversed course on his previous opposition to giving us relief at the pump, and has finally agreed to partially reduce the county's sales tax on the gas that we buy.

At a time when hard-working Long Island families are struggling with skyrocketing gas prices, it's time for Bruce Blakeman to do what's right and give us the full reduction in gas prices that the law allows and that we deserve!
