RYG x NIKE Sports Camps - Staff Application - Summer 2026
RYG Athletics is a provider of NIKE Sports Camps.

Each summer, we recruit summer staff to work our camp sessions. 

Please read all the information below carefully!

Fill out the form below with your information if you are interested in being a coach for one or more of our basketball, volleyball, football, or multi-sport camps!

Camp Coach Description:
  • Lead and coach a group of 12-18 athletes
  • Create a positive environment with your group
  • Learn the names of every athlete in your group
  • Build relationships with every athlete in your group
  • Execute the games and drills that the director demonstrates and teaches
  • Deliver timely feedback and coaching 
  • Model the leadership and mindset skills we teach the athletes

Important Notes:
  • Filling out this form does not guarantee that you will be hired for the week(s) you select
  • After you submit the form and the video, someone may contact you to schedule a virtual interview
  • If you travel for a camp, your lodging and lunches will be covered by RYG Athletics
  • If you are hired to work a camp, you must pass a background check and completed required trainings
Compensation:
  • Compensation varies based on camp type, camp length, and experience. Typically, coaches are paid between $15-$20 an hour. 
  • Most camps run Mon-Thur, 9am-3/4pm and Fri, 9am-12:30pm. 
  • Your specific compensation will be based on your experience and qualifications. It will be shared with you prior to finalizing your summer schedule if you are hired to work

CAMP HOURS & TRAINING

For full day camps, staff hours for staff are typically 8am to 4pm. On Fridays, the hours are typically 8am to 2pm.

For half day camp, staff hours are typically 8am-1pm. 

Time for camps may vary and will be communicated to you if you are selected to be on staff for a session.

You will be required to attend the Sunday night setup and staff meeting for any camp you are working. 

The time varies but it is usually 1-2 hours the afternoon or evening before camp begins.

You will also be required to complete mandatory virtual trainings and pass a background check prior to working a camp.

We don't care about lighting, editing, or production value. A raw smartphone or computer video filmed in their living room or backyard is great.
