Dear Arcadia Titan Families,

Arcadia is hosting our Open House family event on Wednesday 10/13/21 to welcome you back home. It has been two years since we have been able to celebrate with one another as a community.  We are excited for the opportunity to be together again!

To ensure our building is welcoming and meeting your needs, we have created a short questionnaire. We are looking to service your needs and requests to the best of our ability. As a result, we need your feedback to be able to provide you with the best possible experience.

Step 4: Complete the last section with ideas, wishes, input, questions, or suggestions for 10/13 that will having you leaving this evening feeling apart of our family, valued as an individual, and proud that your student's needs are being met at Arcadia.

Model 1
Model 1: Outdoor celebration with optional classroom tours


Open House Celebration which includes the local band Diggler’s Bridge, past and current student performers, food trucks, club fair, activities provided by students with an opportunity to meet Arcadia Staff members outdoors (indoors in the event of rain). The building will be open to tour classrooms.  A map will be provided to help families locate staff. All staff members will create a video/slideshow  that produces a link for online viewing.

Staff is encouraged to have a space in the classroom with a QR code or links or handouts so families can conveniently access information regarding academics and classroom structure.

Teachers can choose to stay in their classroom for the duration of the open house but we are hoping to have as many teachers outside as possible.
Model 2
Model 2: Indoor open campus event (YOUR student will be encouraged to lead their families on a tour of their day)


We would follow our most recent model of inviting families into the building where Arcadia staff members would be in classrooms for a meet and greet. Families would not follow a traditional schedule but would be given a list of staff members names and room numbers with a copy of the student’s schedules. Families would choose where to go and when to go.  Online video/slideshow with academic information through an online link would be available.
Model 3
Model 3: A day and life of a Arcadia Student


Revert to the traditional format where families would travel from classroom to classroom based on the student’s schedule. Each classroom visit would be approx. 7-10 mins per class. We would encourage families to visit non teaching staff members during student’s lunch periods, CAT, and/or Study Hall. Teachers would address families like a class and present information. Video / slideshow with academic information will be available.
