Snowborderland 2024
Steps:
1) Answer all the questions below.
2) Choose the optional extras you want and pay through the link at the end of this form. If you are financially restricted, you can pay half of the total fee now, and half in a month. Please tick the corresponding option in the payment process.
3) After your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email, including an invitation to the shared working platforms for communal efforts and co-creation of Snowborderland 2024 confirmed members, such as Mastersheet and Discord (which will be the official channel for internal communication).

Membership fee: 3600 SEK

This includes:
  • Accommodation (7 nights, Sunday to Sunday, April 7-14)
  • Food (breakfast, simple lunch-pack that you make yourself, dinner)
  • Dreams

A little note on important stuff to be aware of before you apply:
The membership allows you to join a co-created event at a private hostel in Åre area (Renfjällsgården annex - Edsasdalen.se). We rent the entire hostel exclusively, i.e. there will be no external guests.

We all co-create Snowborderland together, based on the 11 principles (The 10 Principles of Burning Man | Burning Man, plus the 11th of Consent:).

We are each and everyone responsible for:
  • Co-creating the event
  • One's private practical stuff for a Burning Ski Adventure, inlcuding bed sheets and towels (option: to rent as an add-on)
  • Ski pass and ski gear (if possible, we will arrange a joint group order, offering discount on ski pass and/or ski rental)
  • Own transport to the Burn (Renfjällsgården, near Åre)
  • Shuttle transport between the hostel and the slopes (around 25 minutes drive by car. There will be opportunities - but no guarantees - to coordinate ride shares in available private cars)
  • All the amazing ideas to make this Burner Event amazing, including your best outfits
So, to be super clear - the membership fee does not include:
  • Travels to/from the Burn
  • Ski pass
  • Ski rental
  • Shuttle to/from the slopes/hostel
  • Bed sheets
  • Towels
Membership transfers can be made no later than March 24, based on the official waiting list. If there is no waiting list, you are responsible of finding someone willing to take over your membership.

There are no refunds of membership fees.

We recommend that you arrive to the Burn on Sunday April 7. We strongly recommend you to arrive no later than Tuesday April 9 in time for dinner. The rationale behind this is that we, as a group, are stepping into a process of building and maintaining an intimate, close-knit environment, creating - for example - a safe-haven for the individual, which deserves to be respected. It is of essence to include each member in this process in an early stage (if not from the start).

We expect everyone to stay till the end of the Strike. This is assumably around noon on Sunday, April 14, though this information may be subject to change. I you have extraordinary reasons for leaving early, we expect you to communicate this at your earliest convenience, for example to Stike Lead, Communication Lead, or Membership Lead.
