Special Production Grants
Over the years, Ed Video’s production grant program has been supporting media art creators by granting no-cost access to our equipment and education resources. In these exceptional times we recognize the importance of supporting artists in the making of work, and have created two new granting streams providing an artist fee as well as Ed Video membership and equipment access.
The two granting streams are:
Special Production Grants for BIPOC Artists - Currently three grants available
Special Production Grants for Artists from the Deaf community - Currently one grant available
Successful applicants will receive a $2000 artists fee, access to no-cost equipment rentals, and a year long Ed Video Producer membership.
Projects must have a strong artistic component to qualify, and all projects must adhere to the spirit and terms of Ed Video's Code of Conduct. It is important to Ed Video’s mandate to offer support which encourages a diversity of perspectives, abilities, and voices. Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
The only cash awards are Special Production Grants for Artists from the BIPOC or Deaf Communities, section 6.
for more information, or with questions. Questions about the awards and the application process are welcome!
