It is understood that the insurance carried by the Hartville R-II School District covers only those activities sponsored by the said school district.  Use by groups other than Hartville R-II do so at their own risk and should carry their own coverage.

Guidelines and Restrictions
  1. Smoking shall not be permitted in any Hartville R-II buildings.

  2. There shall be no illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages brought to or consumed on school premises.

  3. Nothing shall be distributed or exhibited without permission of school personnel.

  4. The Board of Education assumes no responsibility for properties left on the premises by the applicant.

  5. The applicant agrees to pay for the replacement or repair any loss or damage to property occurring during the applicant’s use of the facility.

  6. The school reserves the right to deny permission to use the facility at any time.

  7. At least one school cook must be present when kitchen facilities are used by an outside organization, and the wages to be paid by the organization.

  8. Permission must be granted to put up decorations or to move school furniture.  Decorations must be removed as soon as possible after use of the building.

  9. Athletic groups using the gymnasium must wear rubber-soled shoes of a type that will not mar or scar the gym floor.

  10. Permission to use the facility does not include school equipment, such as motion picture projectors, athletic equipment, band equipment, public address system, etc. unless the superintendent or designee grants permission.

  11. Any person or persons who violate any rules or regulations of the Hartville R-II School District or who injure another person, or destroy or damage any property while on district property will be immediately ejected.

  12. Rental fees shall be established annually by the Hartville R-II Board of Education.

  13. The person responsible is to see that all windows are closed, all lights are out and all doors are locked following said activity.  All doors should also be locked during said activity.

  14.  The fee is to accompany this application prior to said activity.

  15. Any additional clean up of facility will be the financial responsibility of the responsible party.

  16. ALL HARTVILLE R-II SCHOOL EVENTS WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE.
