Science Communication?
AI Research catalyst Program designed to equip students with the "future-ready" skills of academic inquiry. By integrating Generative AI tools into the research workflow—not to replace thinking, but to augment discovery. Students will progress from initial ideation to a drafted scholarly manuscript.
Why participate?:
Direct PhD Mentorship: 1-on-1 guidance from a senior graduate researcher.
AI-Enhanced Workflow: Mastering tools like Elicit and ResearchRabbit to map the frontiers of science.
Scholarly Writing: Students will move from ideation to a drafted manuscript.
University Prep: Publishing a Viewpoint paper abstract in a scholarly journal and building a portfolio that stands out in the most competitive admissions cycles.
Overview of each day:
Morning Sessions (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Core Lectures & Tool Training. PhD instructor demonstrates AI-assisted literature mapping and synthesis.
Lunch (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Informal "Table Talks" with guest researchers (hybrid or in-person).
Afternoon Lab (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Deep Work. The instructor circulates to provide 1-on-1 feedback on student research questions and manuscript drafts.
